When you book your holiday through us, whether you pay by credit card, cheque, wire or EFT payment (bank transfer), your holiday may be financially guaranteed under Consumer Protection BC through their Travel Assurance Fund (TAF). Consumer Protection BC is the only organization of its kind in Canada as they operate using a cost recovery model and offer protection not just for Canadians who book through us, but also for all of our international and overseas guests. We have put down a significant security bond to be a part of this and we also pay the necessary annual fees to Consumer Protection BC.
The Travel Assurance Fund (TAF) is a possible source of compensation if you don’t get the travel services you bought and is only available if you booked with a licensed BC agent or wholesaler. The TAF doesn’t cover all situations, but if your claim meets the criteria, Consumer Protection BC may be able to help. The TAF is not a substitute for your travel insurance.
For more information, including eligibility and potential coverage, visit Consumer Protection BC.
Relocating our head office from Alberta to British Columbia in Western Canada allowed us to be licensed by Consumer Protection BC and gives all of our guests peace of mind in this uncertain economic climate.
Our Consumer Protection BC licence number is 58516 or you can simply look us up by business name.
