Rainforest to Gold Rush Rail, Eastbound - 2 nights
The Rainforest to Gold Rush eastbound rail route is Rocky Mountaineer's longest rail route, and takes you along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway through to Whistler (3.5 hours), followed by two full days through rugged terrain ending your journey in Jasper. Hotel overnights are included in Whistler and Quesnel. Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train you will travel in luxurious GoldLeaf service (SilverLeaf service no longer offered on this route). This "rail only" package is the absolute minimum you can book.
For a seamless itinerary, we recommend you book your hotel nights in Vancouver and Jasper through us. When booking your Vancouver and Jasper hotel nights through us, we ensure you are picked up and dropped off at your hotels, as all rail station transfers in Vancouver, Whistler, Quesnel and Jasper are included. For more information, check out this four night Rainforest to Gold Rush Classic vacation (eastbound).
This itinerary is available in reverse, departing Jasper on Saturdays in 2025 and on Tuesdays in 2024.
